Recycling and Disposal Information
Dear Property Owners:
As we continue to implement our recycling and garbage disposal at Puntacana Resort & Club, we would like to inform of important scheduled times, general information and an informational attachment for your perusal.
Garbage Disposal
All garbage produced in homes in the resort should be separated in plastic bags inside garbage containers, in accordance with the instruction in the UF-2 form, which has been distributed to all homes in the resort. If for some reason you do not have a form, please contact your Owners Concierge at ownersconcierge@puntacana.com
The schedule for garbage pick up is as follows:
Corales - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am
Arrecife - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:30am
Tortuga - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9:30am
Marina - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11:00am
We ask that you please have the garbage containers taken out to the front of the home on the same day of the scheduled pick ups.
We also ask you that after the garbage is picked up, to please have the garbage containers returned to the home as soon as it is possible in that same day and that they are not left out empty in the front area of the home.
Tree pruning & gardening
For tree pruning & gardening you should use 55 gallon bags, not sacks or other kind of bags.
Tree pruning & gardening scheduled pick ups are from Monday thru Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
We would like to remind you that there is a maximum of three 55 gallon bags that will be picked up and any excess of this number of tree pruning bags must be quoted separately by our Landscaping department. You can get this quote by contacting your Owners Concierge.
Garbage containers and bags are for sale at the Ecological Foundation Store. You can contact Juana Puello during office hours at 809-959-2714 X 1813.

La Cana Four Golf Tournament Saturday September 5th

Weather Advice
Dear Property Owners:
The last reports of Onamet (Dominican Meteorological Office) today indicate the formation of two storms in the Caribbean.
You can look at the official report at:

Although no warnings have been given at this moment for Dominican Republic, we could be seeing some increased winds, rains and rough seas within the next 36 to 48 hours.
We recommend that all owners of villas and apartments make sure that no objects are left outside of their property which could be affected by wind.
We also ask all boat owners that they stop by the Marina to make sure their boats are safe.
All resort operations will continue to function normally and if there are any changes in the Onamet reports these will be advised to you.

Medical Services in Puntacana Village
Dear Property Owners:
As you know, Dr Jose Esmurdoc, a Puntacana Resort & Club property owner and resident has been providing medical services in the area for many years.
As our community grows, Dr Esmurdoc has been working on increasing the services of his medical facility in Puntacana Village by bringing qualified doctors from Santo Domingo.
On a monthly basis, Dr Esmurdoc will provide me with a list of the attending physicians who will be coming each month with their respective schedules and telephone numbers to contact to make appointments and I will forward this list on to you via email.
