"Un Chin de Tó" Exposición Fotografica de Ernesto Dos Santos / Punta Cana Art Gallery
Queremos invitarles a la retrospectiva del fotografo cubano, Ernesto Dos Santos, quien expondrá en Punta Cana Art Gallery el próximo miércoles 4 de noviembre un grupo de fotografías de diferente temática.
El fotografo del Jazz, ofrecerá sus mejores fotos de la música de los músicos el Jazz, pero también mostrara otras imagenes variadas de su carpeta de trabao.
una nueva oportunidad para que los residentes de la zona puedan admirar el manejo de lente de un profesional de la fotografía en otra de las exposiciones pautadas entre las acciones colaterales de la próxima Cuarta Trienal Internacional del Tile Cerámico a celebrarse en el Centro León de Santiago de los Caballeros en abril del próximo año.
Con esta serán once las exposiciones presentadas por Punta cana Art Gallery que cerrara en diciembre con broche de oro al presentar al maestro ceramista Wilfredo Torres quien fuera el primer expositor en esta galería en 2005 y que trabaja arduamente en una colección de lozas con rostros de mujer.
La exposición de fotografia de Dos Santos quedara abierta al público a las siete y media del miercoles 4 hasta el 24 de noviembre.

Eco-Tourism Holiday Getaway / Bird Watching with Dr Andre Dhont
Eco Tourism - Bird Watching Special
Come, discover, and help us conserve, the authentic beauty and natural wildlife of PUNTACANA Resort & Club.
Come and experience our special bird watching program this holiday season and help us to conserve and protect our beautiful natural habitat.
From December 28, 2009 - January 2, 2010 renowned bird researcher Dr. Andre Dhondt from the prestigious Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology, will be inviting guests of Tortuga Bay and PUNTACANA Hotel to participate in personalized bird watching tours on the grounds of the PUNTACANA Resort & Club. Participants will learn the basics of Caribbean ornithology, basic bird observation skills, and have the opportunity to participate in scientific research of native, migratory, and endemic bird species with an international expert. Participants will also be able to see the highly rare Ridgeway Hawk, an endangered species that has been reintroduced by the PUNTACANA Ecological Foundation and the Hispaniola Ornithological Society.
Our "Bird watching Special" is available for guests at both Tortuga Bay and the PUNTACANA Hotel with a portion of the room rates being donated to the Puntacana Ecological Foundation. Valid December 28, 2009 - January 4 2010. Subject to Availability.
Room rates start at $390 for a Deluxe Room for two persons.
Each bird watching session would be limited to 10 participants. Participants do not need to have any prior experience in bird watching. Binoculars, field guides and refreshments will be provided. Children with a willingness to learn are welcome (bird watching is a quiet activity). All net proceeds will be donated to the PUNTACANA Ecological Foundation to support the research and education programs of the Center for Sustainability
